MILE MARKERS

Mile markers are usually placed every ½ mile. Mileage shown is measured from the western county line, so mileages increases from west to east in both counties.

Note: A mile marker does not necessarily appear at each highlighted location in this guide.

In Alpine County, mile markers may be spaced infrequently. Markers between Monitor Pass and Markleeville will show Hwy 89.
